Because the garden is such a varied, interesting site, and there’s always lots to do, there are many different ways which you can get involved and contribute. We run an organised open day and volunteer induction afternoon once a month in the Spring and Summer, which is a great way to get an informal introduction to what’s going on and see the lie of the land for yourself.
There are many other supported sessions for regular volunteers throughout the year. These are based around the work of specific work groups or project teams and are arranged to suit both the needs of the task and the participants.

When you are ready, you can arrange to join a particular activity, turn up at one of the induction sessions, or just get in touch for a chat. We aim to be flexible, as well as productive, but always make sure the work is rewarding, and lots of fun!
