We had a hunch that the garden had some special wildlife wriggling and fluttering around us, but it’s only as our iNaturalist project has been steadily populated this year, that the extent, richness and importance of this little bit of natural world we are caring for is becoming evident. With over 300 species observed and recorded so far (special thanks to Joss and Marnie!) and the garden still just coming to life in Spring, this work is building the foundation of scientific data that will help shape how we can help the garden grow, playing an increasingly important part in nature conservation in the area. If you would like to join in and learn how to contribute, drop us a line and join our Wild Ones wildlife group.
